Corten or Galvanised steel

Corten is the premium weathering steel on the market. The surface rust layer protects the steel beneath from further degradation, this gives Corten an increased life in comparison to mild steel.

Corten Steel will tend to start life more with yellowy and orange hues due to it containing elements of copper.

Galvanized steel, which is steel coated with zinc, is highly resistant to rust and corrosion, making it a long-lasting and weather-resistant option for garden borders. It provides a clean, modern look and can be used to define garden beds, pathways, and walkways.

Galvanised steel is the longest-lasting steel finish on the market. Galvanised steel will outlast mild or weathering steel, making it an excellent choice for durability.
