SA Steel Yard supplies steel products, garden edging, and related materials across Australia. We aim to provide fast and reliable delivery for all orders.

Processing Time

• Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment has been received.
• Custom or made-to-order items (such as cut steel or fabricated pieces) may require additional time. We will confirm estimated lead times when your order is placed.

Delivery Options

We offer several delivery methods depending on product type, size, and location:

• Local delivery within South Australia (using our own vehicles or contracted carriers)
• Interstate freight for larger orders via third-party transport companies
• Pickup available from our yard by prior arrangement

Delivery Fees

Shipping and handling fees vary based on size, weight, and destination. Delivery costs will be clearly quoted before checkout or confirmed in your invoice.

Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times:

• Adelaide Metro: 1–3 business days after dispatch
• Regional SA: 2–5 business days
• Interstate: 3–10 business days (depending on location and freight provider)

Delivery Conditions

• The customer is responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive the delivery.
• For unattended deliveries, the driver may leave the goods in a safe location at your risk.
• Large or heavy items may require forklift access or assistance for unloading — please advise us in advance.

2. Order Pickup

Orders can be collected from our yard In Lonsdale SA 5160, during business hours by appointment. You will be notified when your order is ready for collection. Please bring proof of purchase or identification when picking up.

3. Returns Policy

We take pride in providing quality steel products and services. If you’re not satisfied with your purchase, please review the following returns policy:

Change of Mind

Returns for change of mind are accepted at our discretion.
Returned items must be unused, in original condition, and returned within 30 days of delivery or pickup.
A restocking fee may apply to cover handling and processing costs.
Custom-cut or fabricated products cannot be returned or refunded for change of mind.

Damaged or Faulty Goods

• Please inspect your order upon delivery.
• If you receive damaged or incorrect goods, contact us within 48 hours with photos and a description of the issue.
• We will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days after return approval.

Return Shipping

• For approved returns, customers are responsible for return freight costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
• We may help arrange return freight at cost upon request.
